The top 5 beaches in Algarve according to Diana.

The coast of Portugal has a lot of beautiful beaches and especially the south is called the Miami of Europe. There are so many small and big sandy beaches to explore. Today I want to share my top 5 beaches in Algarve with you.
If you like long beaches you will love this one. A beautiful long beach with a lot of space. The field formation is very special and the colour gives the whole thing a special feeling, especially at sunset.
The special thing about this beach is not only the white/grey rock face, but also the natural source of clay that can be found there. Don’t be surprised if there are people walking around with a gray paste covered all over their body. A real spa experience with a great view!
A narrow entrance leads to this small beach. Yes, the entrance is a challenge, but this beach is worth a visit! It is very popular by cliff jumpers. But it’s also a lot of fun to watch them jumping off the cliffs. Would you jump?
A very nice, cosy and quiet beach near Lagoa. The way from the parking to the beach is a little long, but the view and relaxing afterwards is worth it. It only has a little beach hut who sells drinks and snacks, nothing more.
This beach is not only a great photo spot but also very popular for snorkelling. The natural rock formation divides the beach into three sections. Every section can be reached through the field tunnels. A small, elevated restaurant invites you to stay.
An advice for all Algarve beaches: Be sure to watch the tide. The difference in sea level can be more than 3 meters. So put your towel in a tide safe place.
